Finance

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presents the award of Excellence in Capital Budgeting, for the years of 2008, 2001-2005, 1998-1999, 1997-1998.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presents the to the City of Temecula the Distinguished Budget Presentation award, for the years of 2008, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002. In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, operations guide,  financial plan, and communication device.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presents the City of Temecula Excellence in Financial Reporting 1997-2008. Certificate of Achievements are presented to government units and public employee retirement systems whose comprehensive annual financial reports (CAFRs) achieve the highest standards in government accounting and financial reporting.

Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC ) presents the Award of Excellence in Information Technology Practices to recognize the outstanding practices in Information Technology that have met or surpassed local government standards, for the years of 2008/2009, 2006/2007.
