The primary goal of the Planning Department is to implement orderly and compatible development which creates livable neighborhoods, supports economic development, and sustains a high quality of life for Temecula’s citizens. Our planning staff coordinates its efforts with business owners, local community groups, citizens, engineers, architects and other project proponents to ensure that every development project makes the most sense for the community. All development project proposals – both large and small, are reviewed with our primary goal in mind: to continue to make Temecula a desirable place to live, work and play.
