What is a Specific Plan?

A Specific Plan is a comprehensive planning and zoning document for a defined geographic region of the City. The City of Temecula has 13 Specific Plans which govern the land use and development within the designated Specific Plan areas. Specific plans contain detailed standards, land use and development criteria that supplement those of the General Plan. Specific Plans are also available to be viewed at the City of Temecula Planning Department located at City Hall.

Copies of any of the Specific Plan documents are available to be copied or mailed at the expense of the requestor. Please contact Records Management at (951) 240-4225 to request a Specific Plan to be copied or mailed.
