T.R.I.P. Report

The purpose of the T.R.I.P. Report (Traffic Restrictions in Progress) is to advise citizens of conditions affecting traffic flow within the City.


The following information consists of general major construction zones that are known at this time, but may not be all inclusive. This update is in effect for the week of January 30, 2012.
  

LOW FLOW CHANNEL:
The Low Flow Channel on Via Montezuma between Diaz Road and Del Rio is currently closed 


SANTIAGO ROAD CLOSURE:
The unpaved section west of John Warner and east of Margarita will be closed to traffic, due to the excessive erosion of the dirt travel way; it is not safe for vehicles to drive through this area.


RESTRICTED LANES


Butterfield Stage Road will have median landscape construction  between Pauba and Royal Crest.  Expect traffic controls to maintain single lane of travel and occasional lane closures.


Campanula Median Construction at De Portola
will require traffic controls for the new landscaping and during the construction of a new traffic signal.


Margarita Pavement Rehab: 
 No work anticipated - project is complete.


Meadows Parkway

including landscaping between Sunny Meadows and Campanula is ongoing.  Expect traffic controls to maintain single lane of travel and occasional lane closures. 


Rancho California Water District will be paving trench repairs at various locations throughout the City.  This will be night work beginning at 8pm.  Expect traffic controls.


Rancho California Water District:  Constuction of a new 54" transmission main line has begun on Madison.  The line will run down Buecking Drive and then north on Jefferson to Cherry Street.  Most construction will occur between 7 PM and 5 AM.  Expect traffic control and possible detours.


Warehouse at Third Street:  There is no parking allowed on 3rd Street west of Old Town Front Street.  


Winchester Road between Roripaugh Road and Nicolas Road:  Major pavement rehabilitation work on Winchester Road is now complete.  Adjusting manholes to grade and street striping is continuing through the week of February 2nd .  Access to businesses and residences in the area will remain open. 


*There are always some unscheduled street and utility repairs that occur day and night.  Please drive safely thru all delineated construction zones.
