Cottages of Old Town

The Old Town Cottages development has brought the joy and pride of home ownership into the Pujol neighborhood.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit housing organization, built two new single-family residences on Sixth Street with Redevelopment Agency assistance, donations, and volunteer labor. To obtain information about donating time or materials, making a financial contribution, or assisting with fund-raisers, contact the area Habitat for Humanity office at 951-245-4943.

Riverbank Senior Housing

The Riverbank Senior Hosing development is a beautiful country style complex with 66 one bedroom residences. Located in the revitalized Pujol neighborhood, the Riverbank Senior Housing development has played a major role in the gentrification of the Pujol Neighborhood as well as Old Town Temecula.

Mission Village


With assistance from Temecula's Redevelopment Agency, a non-profit housing organization rehabilitated an existing 38-unit apartment complex located on Pujol Street near Old Town's commercial district.  In addition, 38 brand new units were constructed, for a total of 76 newly added affordable housing units.  The Agency assistance allows the units to be offered at lower than market rents for families of very low- and low-income.

Rancho West

The Redevelopment Agency provided financial assistance to a non-profit housing agency for the revitalization of this 150-unit apartment complex at Main Street and Pujol Street in the Old Town area.  Before the rehabilitation, the apartment complex was the site of frequent criminal activity and was visibly deteriorating.  The site is now beautifully maintained and is very popular for its quiet family atmosphere.  The Agency's assistance allows the units to be offered at lower than market rents for families of very low- and low-income  

Rancho Creek

Located on Felix Valdez Road in the Redevelopment Project Area near Old Town, the rehabilitation of this 30-unit apartment complex was also financially assisted by the Redevelopment Agency.  The project added newly renovated affordable housing units for very low- and low-income families.  Prior to the renovation, the complex was an eyesore and was considered by some to be unsafe for families.
