Located on the north end of Old Town Temecula, Sam Hicks Monument Park provides fun and safe recreational space for the residents of the Old Town and Pujol neighborhoods as well as visitors of Old Town Temecula. Renovations included new Tot Lot, sidewalks, and picnic area.
Old Town Chapel
Located in the heart of historical Old Town Temecula Sam Hicks Monument Park, this quaint chapel has been meticulously restored and renovated to represent its early 1920's origin. The stained glass used throughout the facility is a combination of original glass circa 1880's and new matching glass that was obtained from the original glass factory still in operation today. All of the new pews are accurate replicas, using one of the original pews as a model for construction. The Chapel is set in a beautiful tree-lined park with a large rose garden on the south side and a private patio on the north side for gatherings and reception

The facility hosts numerous school field trips each year, complementing their science curriculum. Click Link for Children’s Museum web page.
Mercantile Mercantile
The City of Temecula purchased the historic Mercantile building, which was in danger of being razed because it did not meet seismic building codes. The Mercantile was renovated and now serves at the ticket box office for the theater, small art gallery, staff offices, and an intimate club environment for solo and small ensemble performances. The creative use of this facility has resulted in the preservation of a historical building, expanded participation in the fine arts, and showcases the new theater is a special way.
Old Town Temecula Community Theater
The City of Temecula Partnered with the Theater Foundation, a local non-profit organization to create a 358 seat state-of-the-art theater. The Theater provides a permanent home for local amateur performance groups and gives the City an opportunity to bring in high quality theatrical experience for the community when the facility is not being used by local groups. It also encourages people to come to Old Town after 5:00 p.m. and for local businesses to stay open in the evening because of the increased foot travel. See Link for Theater Details.
