The Agency offers programs and projects to encourage private investment using public funds to remove blight, revitalize neighborhoods, and provide affordable housing.

The Agency has been engaged in the development, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable housing since 1995.

What is Redevelopment?
Redevelopment has a direct effect on the economic future of Temecula because it promotes renovation and sponsors improvements that are focused on the growth of the community. 

The Redevelopment Plan & Project Area
The objective of the Redevelopment Plan is to eliminate such conditions of blight by providing needed public improvements.

Senior Home Repair Grant
The City of Temecula offers one-time Grants of up to $3,000 to senior citizens for needed repairs to their homes. No repayment is required. 

Residential Improvement Loan Program
The purpose of the Residential Improvement Loan Program is to provide assistance in exterior improvements to residences. 

Multi-Family Rehab Loan Program
The Multi-Family Rehabilitation Loan Program is also designed to improve the supply of affordable rental housing in our community. 

Facade Improvement Program
The Facade Improvement Program seeks to bring new life to existing buildings. 

Housing Vouchers & Section 8
The housing choice voucher program is the federal government's major program for assisting people to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing.

First Time Home Buyer Program
The City of Temecula Redevelopment Agency (RDA) is offering a First Time Home Buyer Down Payment Assistance Program (FTHB). The primary objective of the First Time Home Buyer Program is to provide housing inventory on a continuing basis which will be available for purchase by first time home buyers of moderate income.
