REAL SNOW AT THE TEMECULA CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
TEMECULA, CA – December 3, 2009 – Pennypickle’s Winter Wonderland at the Temecula Children’s Museum has become a highly anticipated holiday tradition for families in the Temecula Valley. This year, you can celebrate the season on Friday, December 11 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm by playing in tons of real snow, making crafts, snacking on hot cocoa & s’mores, and enjoying games & entertainment at this annual fundraising event hosted by The Friends of the Temecula Children’s Museum.
New this year is the “Messing With Marshmallows” arena. Hundreds of marshmallows will fill a play area where kids will learn about velocity while having a great time seeing how far a marshmallow can go with a homemade launcher. Scooter, the holiday pony, will be available for visiting and photo opportunities, as well as Ru, his sidekick border collie. Free train rides will be available. Children will have the opportunity - for one night only - to crawl into Pennypickle’s basement and shop for $5 gifts in Beaker’s Secret Store. No parents allowed – you don’t want to find out what you’re getting!
The west side of Main Street in Old Town Temecula will close at 3:00 pm to prepare for a night of merriment. For more information, please call (951) 308-6376, or visit www.pennypickles.org.
