Public Safety Expo Cancelled

CITY OF TEMECULA PUBLIC SAFETY EXPO
CANCELED

The Public Safety Expo scheduled for Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Great Oak High School, has been CANCELLED. The K-9 Trials will still go on as usual rain or shine. Some of their events will be held indoors.

The City cannot tie up our Fire and Police services at the Expo during the upcoming strong Pacific storm scheduled to reach us this weekend. The ground is still saturated from last week’s rain storm and this new strong storm may cause more flooding, traffic issues, and downed trees. This storm is expected to bring high winds and a cold unstable air mass that will make thunderstorms also possible Saturday.

Because the Safety Expo is always done in conjunction with the K9 Trials, the Expo will not be rescheduled at this time.
