What is Temecula 2030?
The Temecula 2030 Plan will be a living document that reflects the vision and long-term goals of our City. As Temecula continues to grow and mature, the Temecula 2030 Plan will be a crucial part of not only maintaining our quality of life, but to take a proactive approach and identify specific community needs, goals, and possible improvements.
The Temecula 2030 Plan will give the City the ability to quantify and measure our success, which will be connected to the City’s Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which is forecasted five years out.
Temecula 2030 is driven by the Quality of Life City Council Subcommittee consisting of Mayor Ron Roberts and Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Washington. The Subcommittee provides policy guidance and direction as the plan is drafted and developed. A Blue Ribbon Committee, consisting of key stakeholders within the community was also formed to provide input and vision. Several Blue Ribbon Committee meetings have been held to date. The City has obtained Applied Development Economics, Inc. (ADE) to assist with the Temecula 2030 Plan facilitation.
