Volunteering Opportunities

The City of Temecula offers many volunteer opportunities to residents. Utilizing volunteers enables citizens to become more involved in their community and local government, while increasing the effectiveness and productivity of City departments.

Various opportunities for all ages are available within City Hall, Mary Phillips Senior Center, the Community Recreation Center (CRC) and the Temecula Community Center (TCC), as well as the Police and Fire Departments. The opportunities could involve administrative and clerical tasks, helping out with specific projects, and much more. Also, extra help is always needed at various special events held throughout the year.

The City prefers to find out a prospective volunteer’s background, skills and interests so that the volunteer is placed in an area that he/she finds fulfilling and enjoyable. However, the City is also open to new ideas, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any unique concept that may utilize your talents. For this reason, or for more information regarding the volunteer program, please contact the Community Services Department at 951-694-6480. We look forward to hearing from you!
