ALLISON CORNELL IN CONCERT
Allison is touring in support of her independently released debut CD, "Pretty Colored Lights". The album, which contains 10 original tracks and two covers of artists Shania Twain and Joe Jackson whom she's toured with, is an eclectic blend of jazz infused pop, R&B and Americana. It features Allison's singing and arranging, as well as her keyboard, violin/viola, guitar, and mandolin playing. The guest musicians on these recording include: Joe Jackson, Graham Maby, Cyndi Lauper, Mike Viseglia (longtime Suzanne Vega bassist) and guitar aces Jon Herington and Kat Dyson.

Allison's solo show is comprised of her vocals, a dual keyboard setup and an acoustic guitar, with enhancements from her laptop computer which fill in the vocal and instrumental performance with a few elements from the fully produced cd.

"I Can't Get Over You," Allison's pop-ballad, recently won first prize in a contest called UNISONG. Also a winner is her Pop Uptempo / Dance "Automatic" which won TOP 20 FINALIST. No stranger to the rigors of the road Allison has worked with a diverse range of artists including Joe Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Suzanne Vega, Paula Cole, Shania Twain, Angelique Kidjo, Jann Arden, Tracy Chapman, Pat Benatar, Ann-Margret and Ronnie Spector.
